On 30 September 2025, the Polish Society for Eighteenth-Century Studies signed a long-term cooperation agreement with the Polish Library Institute in Paris, the main objectives of which are to co-organise academic, cultural, educational and popularisation events, such as conferences, lectures, workshops and exhibitions, particularly in the fields of history, literature and art history, as well as to support academic research and publishing cooperation, and the exchange of information, materials and academic publications.

The first tangible result of this cooperation is the implementation agreement signed on 7 March 2026 regarding the joint organisation (together with the other partners – the Faculty of History at the University of Warsaw and the Museum of Polish History) of a meeting in Warsaw from 8 to 11 July 2026 several dozen members of the Executive Committee and delegates of the International Society for Eighteenth Century Studies. The highlight will be the academic conference co-organised by us on the theme ‘Changing perceptions of Eastern and Northern Europe in the 18th century / L'évolution des perceptions de l'Europe orientale et septentrionale au XVIIIe siècle’.
